Trials and Smiles at the Colorado State Button Show

I'm just back from a weekend at the Colorado State Button Show and have shared all about it on my blog, Indulge Your Shelf, along with many pretty photos!  Here's my new love:

She's a watch crystal button made by an artist, Theodore Gates, in 1967.  They tell me he used an antique Godey image of one of his fashionable ladies, then created the button from composition.  It's signed and dated by the artist.  Sigh.
